NSEA is Stage I of the five-stage National Olympiad Programme in Astronomy, coordinated by HBCSE. Top scorers are shortlisted for INAO (Stage II), then the Orientation-cum-Selection Camp (OCSC), the training stage and the International Olympiad team. Every student wanting to continue through the programme must enrol in the NSE of that year. Syllabus: up to Class 12 (CBSE).
