Indira Gandhi Utkrisht Chhatervritti Yojna, Himachal Pradesh (Class 12 toppers entering higher study, 2027-28 cycle)

A state-sponsored merit scheme for post-plus-two study. It awards 150 students Rs 18,000 per year purely on merit and without any income ceiling: 10 toppers each from the 10+2 Arts, Science and Commerce merit lists of the H.P. Board of School Education, provided they join an academic or professional stream, and 10 toppers from the B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. lists. Students must keep the required percentage in subsequent classes (the page notes an increase of the eligibility percentage from 55% to 60%).
