A science project competition for children aged 10-17 in Gujarat: teams of two investigate a local problem under the 2026 theme 'Science and Innovation for Sustainability', with district and state rounds coordinated by GUJCOST leading to the National Children's Science Congress.
The Children's Science Congress is a flagship programme of the National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Teams carry out research-based projects on local issues under five sub-themes: waste management (R5), energy (E4), water, food-agriculture-health, and application of Indian Knowledge Systems for sustainability. GUJCOST has coordinated the district and state levels in Gujarat since 2014.
