FIRST India's robotics competition in which teams of 15-20 students aged 12-18 design, build and program robots for the 2026-27 BIOBUZZ game, compete at six regional qualifiers and the India National Championship in Pune, with a path to the FIRST World Championship.
Teams of 15-20 students build robots on a reusable platform that run a 30-second autonomous period and a 2-minute driver-controlled period in two-on-two alliance matches, and also take part in outreach and engineering-innovation judging. India has 100+ teams, 6 qualifying tournaments and one National Championship. Teams advancing to the National Championship pay a separate championship registration fee.
