Daejeon University Humanities Gifted Education Center 2027 Intake
A year-long humanities and leadership gifted programme at Daejeon University for Daejeon students (elementary grade 4 to middle-school year 2 now, entering grade 5 to middle-school year 3 in 2027); applications on GED close on 9 November 2026.

About 100 students are selected across grade 5 to middle-school year 3 courses. The programme combines leadership training, Saturday basic-learning classes (culture and human rights, AI and society, climate change, psychology, Shakespeare), humanities lectures, a residential summer camp, debate and reading-based inquiry, and a project presentation; middle-school year 2–3 students can join a mentored paper-writing (사사) track. Attendance of at least 80% is required to complete.
