AI Scholars 2027

Students explore artificial intelligence through structured study and collaborative learning in Carnegie Mellon’s residential pre-college community. The June 26–July 24, 2027 program requires full participation. Concurrent programs are not permitted; an asynchronous course requires advance approval. Admission considers preparation, motivation and financial circumstances. A required virtual Python course with synchronous and independent work takes place approximately one month before arrival; no previous coding experience is required.
