Caucasus Mathematical Olympiad (CMO) 2027 – Uzbekistan Team

An international mathematics olympiad for grades 8-11 held each March in Maykop, Republic of Adygea (Russia). Uzbekistan's team is among the strongest foreign teams (2 gold medals in 2026, 4 in 2025); Uzbek pupils take part through the national team formed by the Fan olimpiadalari markazi.

The CMO is organised by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Adygea, the Caucasus Mathematical Center, Adyghe State University and the Regional School of Natural Science and Mathematics. Pupils of grades 8-11 from southern Russian regions and foreign countries are invited, and winners are ranked in a junior league (grades 8-9) and a senior league (grades 10-11). The olympiad has two rounds plus lectures, master classes and a cultural programme. In 2026 Uzbek students took part in person, and Uzbekistan's team won two gold medals. The real grade range is 8-11-sinf.
