CBSE Merit Scholarship Scheme for Single Girl Child (Class XI-XII), 2026 edition

A CBSE scholarship of Rs 1,000 a month for up to two years for girls who are the only child of their parents, passed Class 10 in a CBSE school with 70% or more and continue to Class 11 and 12. The 2026 call has not been published yet.

CBSE awards the scholarship to Single Girl Children who passed the CBSE Class 10 examination with 70% or more and study in Class 11 and 12 in a CBSE-affiliated school. The number of scholarships varies by year because all qualifying girls are awarded. Renewal for the second year needs 70% or more in Class 11 and promotion to Class 12. NRI applicants of the Board are also eligible.
