A monthly merit stipend from Uzbekistan's Ministry of Digital Technologies for pupils of the academic lyceums attached to TUIT and its branches, with one stipend per lyceum each year. Applications are made online on the IT-Istedod portal in July–August.
The stipend is set by the regulation approved under Ministry of Digital Technologies Order No. 62 of 28 February 2023. Each academic lyceum attached to the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT) and its branches receives one stipend per school year. Lyceum candidates are scored out of 100: grades in the last two semesters (20), foreign language level (20), international IT certificate (20), subject olympiads (20), hackathons or IT contests (10), and an essay plus social activity (10). Stipend holders get priority when groups of young people are selected for grant-funded study abroad.
