Applicants with an SAT score of 1200 or more are admitted to state university bachelor's programmes on an additional, tuition-free state grant, in programmes whose entrance exams include the certificate subject.
Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 578 says that applicants holding an SAT certificate (College Board) with 1200 or more, which is 75% of the maximum score, are admitted on an additional state grant to bachelor's programmes whose entrance exams include the certificate subject. Applicants with a benefit of admission without exams on an additional state grant are admitted to the first programme chosen at registration, regardless of the form of study. The minimum pass marks set by the State Commission still apply, and a state grant through a benefit can be used only once. The same regulation lets A-level (grade B or higher) and IB (32 or more) holders enter on the base contract fee, not on a grant.
