Titled 'What kind of place is RIKEN?', the course lets students glimpse a frontline research institute during the summer holidays through an orientation, a researcher lecture, and tours of research facilities and instruments, followed by an optional science career consultation with RIKEN staff. In 2026 there was no hands-on lab practical. About 40 places.
