The Math Kangaroo contest originated in France in 1991 and is held in many countries. In Pakistan it is run as the World Mathematical Invitational (WMI) by Creative Learning Services in Lahore. The contest is a single test with no preliminary or final round. Students from class 1 to 12 may take part, with level-wise papers; only the Class 9-12 levels fit this age range.
