Vietnam's national research-project fair for students in grades 8–12: projects are chosen at school and province level, then compete at MOET's national fair.
The national contest (Cuộc thi nghiên cứu khoa học, kỹ thuật cấp quốc gia dành cho học sinh trung học) is organised by MOET. Projects can be scientific or engineering projects; Ho Chi Minh City judges engineering projects on the research problem, design and method, building and testing, creativity and presentation (booth and interview). Research time counts from January of the contest year until the entry deadline.
