The tasks cover the full AI problem-solving process: data analysis, choosing a method, programming, training and optimising a model, and testing. Strong programming, data structures and algorithms, probability and statistics and optimisation are needed. At IOAI 2026 Vietnam won 2 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze medals.
