Enter the local chemistry olympiad through your ACS coordinator and an in-person supervised site.
ACS runs a multistage chemistry olympiad. This listing covers the initial Local Exam at US participating sites. The online examination is supervised in person. Contact the local coordinator associated with your school to arrange participation; online registration alone does not guarantee an exam place. Strong local performers can be nominated to the National Exam under section quotas, normally at most two nominees from one diploma-awarding school, followed by further selective study-camp/team stages. Noncitizens may take Local but cannot be nominated to National unless they hold US permanent residence.
