Vietnam's national round of the Universal Postal Union's annual letter-writing contest for 9–15-year-olds: one handwritten letter of up to 800 words on a set theme, sent by post.
Organised in Vietnam by the Ministry of Science and Technology, MOET, the Central Youth Union, the Writers' Association, Vietnam Post and Thiếu niên Tiền phong và Nhi đồng newspaper. The 2026 theme was 'Write a letter to a friend about why human connection matters in a digital world'. Letters must be the student's own unpublished work; letters in a foreign language need a Vietnamese translation. National first and second prize winners receive the Youth Union's 'Tuổi trẻ Sáng tạo' badge; prize winners receive certificates and prize money.
