UK Chemistry Olympiad 2027 Round 1 — US British schools

Overview

The Royal Society of Chemistry runs this academic olympiad. Round 1 is a two-hour written test with real-world chemistry problems, taken in one sitting at school under a responsible invigilator. Teachers receive the paper, mark it using the later mark scheme and submit scores; high-scoring scripts may need to be posted physically, with copies retained for checks. This listing represents only the explicitly permitted US British international-school Round 1 route. Overseas schools must apply through RSC’s email instructions; ordinary student self-registration is unavailable. Round 2/team selection is separate and not a guaranteed benefit of overseas Round 1 entry.
