Launched in 2012, the Dojo combines pre-departure training in Tokyo (seminar research on global issues, leadership training, modern Japanese history, Japanese culture), an approximately 11-month high-school exchange with homestay, and post-return reporting. Course A goes to Australia or New Zealand and Course B to the USA or Canada; an Advanced Class (about 5 per course) places students in STEM/STEAM-focused schools. In 2026 up to 150 students (75 per course) were accepted. Credits earned abroad may be recognised by the home school.
