The Uzbek edition of the Technovation Girls tech-entrepreneurship contest, coordinated by the NGO Tech4Impact: teams of girls aged 8–18 build a mobile app or AI project for a local problem and compete in a national final in Uzbekistan. The 2027 season dates are not yet announced.
Teams of 5 girls identify a social problem, build a mobile app (App Inventor) or AI-based project, write a business plan and record a video pitch. The curriculum is online and in English only, and no prior programming knowledge is needed; teams meet mentors online once a week for 2–3 hours. Partners in Uzbekistan include the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Digital Education Development Centre, Yandex Uzbekistan and the Association for Support of Children and Families. In 2025, 88 team projects came from Tashkent and 8 regions; teams placing in the world's top 15 can reach the international final.
