STEM Racing (formerly F1 in Schools) 2026-27: University of Leeds Support and Yorkshire and Humber Regional Competition
Student teams aged 11 to 19 in Yorkshire and the Humber design, build, brand and race miniature STEM Racing cars, with design support, free 3D-printing and a test track at the University of Leeds before the regional competition on 2 February 2027.

Supported by Formula 1, STEM Racing involves engineering, marketing and project management. The University of Leeds is a Centre of Excellence offering design support from the School of Mechanical Engineering, free printing of up to three cars per team and exclusive track access. Regional winners can progress to the national and world finals.
