Students work with medicine student ambassadors: anatomy and patient cases, clinical skills such as venesection, cannulation, suturing and blood pressure, a trauma scenario with emergency services, a hospital tour of the Acute Medical Unit and clinical research facilities, interview techniques and a talk from the Faculty of Medicine admissions tutor.
