An announced summer 2027 intake for mentored work in San Francisco city departments. Applications are expected in February; detailed summer eligibility, dates and compensation have not yet been released.
SF YouthWorks places young people with city-department employee mentors and provides job-readiness workshops and training. Its general program serves rising juniors, rising seniors and graduating seniors, with placements across public-service departments such as the library, utilities and airport. The current official page explicitly announces summer 2027 applications in February. The 2026–2027 school-year intake on the same page is closed; this entry represents only the announced summer intake, not a reopened school-year vacancy. The particular worksite and responsibilities depend on placement.
