A one-day research conference in the Kyushu region where junior high, high school and kosen students present their own research to researchers and companies, run by Leave a Nest.
Science Castle is a research conference for secondary students that Leave a Nest has run since 2012. In 2027 it adds three regional forums (Kansai, Kyushu, Tokai) besides the Asia and World conferences. Students give judged oral presentations (7 min talk, 5 min Q&A) or judged poster presentations (4 min, 4 min Q&A) and discuss their work with researchers, companies and other student researchers, building toward the Asia and World conferences.
