A national STEM competition where public-school students, guided by a teacher, design solutions to real problems in their community and compete for up to $50,000 in technology and classroom resources for their school.
Samsung Solve for Tomorrow, now powered by MIT Solve, asks students to use science, technology, engineering and math to create change in their communities. 500 schools win prize packages across tiers (Promising Innovators, Semi-Finalists, National Finalists, National Winner and special awards such as Employee Choice, Community Choice and AI Impact). Students can get mentoring from Samsung employees, and teachers can join free professional development. More than 620,000 U.S. students have taken part and 4,000 schools have been awarded $31 million.
