Entries are a poem up to 40 lines, a flash fiction story up to 750 words, or a flash creative nonfiction piece up to 750 words. A Western faculty panel in the Department of English and Writing Studies picks three winners, one per category. Each winner receives $100, publication in the print journal Occasus and a copy of the issue.
