Korean middle and high school teams studying Japanese as a second foreign language perform short original plays, skits or parodies in Japanese; the top three high school teams win a JENESYS trip to Japan. The 2027 edition has not been announced yet.
Co-hosted by the Embassy of Japan's cultural centre, the Korean Society of Japanese Language Education and the Japan Foundation Seoul, the contest lets teams compete on Japanese ability and acting through original skits, short plays and parodies. High school teams have 3-6 members and middle school teams 3-5.
