A national Japanese speech contest for Korean high school students co-hosted by the Embassy of Japan's cultural centre, the Korean Society of Japanese Language Education and the Japan Foundation Seoul; top finalists join a Japanese government-invited JENESYS trip to Japan. The 2027 edition has not been announced yet.
Finalists give a memorised speech of about 5 minutes (about 1,500 characters, 2 A4 pages) on a free topic (no politics, ideology or religion), without panels or slides. Judging covers topic, pronunciation, attitude, grammar and vocabulary, expression and content.
