MusicFest Canada's audition-selected a national honour jazz band for exceptional jazz students aged 19 and under, rehearsing and performing at the national festival in Calgary in 2027.
Conn-Selmer Centerstage Jazz Band 2027 is one of MusicFest Canada's National Honour Ensembles, selected by audition, with a week of rehearsals under guest conductors and a concert. Honour ensemble members are eligible for some of more than $50,000 of industry-sponsored scholarships; subsidized university residence accommodation in Calgary is offered.
