Music for Youth Regional Festivals 2027 (leading to the National Festival in Birmingham)

The UK's largest festival series for young musicians: groups of two or more players aged 21 or under perform at one of 20+ regional festivals or submit a recording online, with a route to the National Festival in Birmingham each July. The 2026 regional applications are closed and 2027 has not been announced.

Bands, ensembles, choirs and collectives of any genre perform and receive feedback from professional Music Mentors. All participating groups are invited to the National Festival, with opportunities such as performing at the MFY Proms at the Royal Albert Hall.
