The annual timetable runs January–December: advanced reading, readiness assessment, active research, flexible summer work and fall writing/presentation. Expect at least ten hours weekly during the main reading/research phases, including a weekly mentor meeting. Students may enter research or reading tracks; progression to research depends on readiness. Staff assigns projects, sometimes in groups. Final-paper milestones may extend to January 15 after the calendar-year program. Publication is possible, never guaranteed.
