A four-part Holocaust Educational Trust course for two post-16 state-school students per school in the North West region, including a one-day visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau. A coordinating teacher applies for the school.
The Lessons from Auschwitz Project is the Holocaust Educational Trust's flagship programme for post-16 students. It combines an online learning platform, an orientation seminar, a one-day visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum in Poland, an online follow-up seminar and a Next Steps community project. Participants receive an ASDAN accredited certificate. The page says schools and colleges in these local authorities are invited to take part.
