JSPS's nationwide programme in which universities and research institutes open their KAKENHI-funded labs to junior high and high school students (and upper elementary pupils) for lectures and hands-on experiments. FY2026 sessions run until March 2027 and are booked program by program.
Researchers at universities, inter-university research institutes and KOSEN across Japan explain their cutting-edge KAKENHI research through lectures and experiments, and share their own path into research, so that participants experience the fun of science and scholarship. Fields span biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, earth science, medicine and also humanities and social sciences.
