HEC Pakistan has posted Cuban-government undergraduate scholarships for Pakistani nationals aged 18-25, mostly in Medicine. The 2026-27 call closed on 31 March 2026; the 2027-28 call is not yet announced.
The Government of Cuba offered eleven undergraduate scholarships for Pakistani nationals for 2026-27 to strengthen bilateral ties in higher education. Ten seats were for Medicine and one for another eligible programme. Cuba provides tuition fees, hostel accommodation and food; the student bears halal food, insurance, living expenses, visa fees and most other costs, while HEC pays one return air ticket. Applicants must be FSc/A Level pre-medical result holders (not awaiting results) and, for medical seats, must have passed MDCAT.
