New Mexico's statewide high-school mock trial competition: student teams prepare a case as attorneys and witnesses and try it before real judges and attorneys in courtrooms.
Teams argue both sides of the season's case in regional or district rounds; the strongest advance to the state championship, whose winner may represent the state at the National High School Mock Trial Championship (May 13–15, 2027, St. Louis). Individual students can also enter as courtroom artists or courtroom journalists.
