Created in 2021, the Daegu Education Talent Development Scholarship supports talented students in many fields from primary through high school. In 2026 eight new scholars were selected: six in primary 6, one in middle 1 and one in high 1. The foundation also runs many other school-nominated scholarships for Daegu students (merit for low-income middle/high-school students, emergency 'Compass' support, specialist talent in science, music, art, sports and literature, and more).
