CSSSA welcomes up to 500 students each summer with a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio and a student body reflecting California's diversity. Funded by the State of California, it has much lower tuition for California residents. The 2026 session was hosted at Cal Poly Pomona under a new campus partnership. Students accepted to more than one department must choose one.
