Solve a supervised school mathematics contest with a grade-appropriate paper and formal scoring.
Fryer is for grade 9, Galois grade 10 and Hypatia grade 11. Motivated younger students may write up, never below their official grade; choose one of this group each school year. Work individually on paper for 75 minutes on four questions mixing final answers and full solutions, for 40 points. Mathematical reasoning and clear presentation matter. Official honour-roll participation requires grade 9 or below for Fryer, 10 or below for Galois, or 11 or below for Hypatia, with the Student Response Form correctly completed. Other papers can be unofficial while still marked and eligible for certificates/medals.
