Solve a supervised school mathematics contest with a grade-appropriate paper and formal scoring.
Euclid targets the final secondary-school year and CÉGEP; motivated younger students are welcome. Work individually on paper for 2.5 hours on ten questions mixing final answers and full solutions, for 100 points. Some problems go beyond the school curriculum. Any full-time student may write; official international honour-roll/team-score eligibility additionally requires birth on/after January 1, 2008 and a correctly completed Student Information Form. Other participants still have papers marked and may earn certificates or school medals. Participation is not a requirement for Waterloo admission.
