Overview
The Carson Scholars Fund selects students for merit-based college scholarships. Schools nominate one student per represented grade category; this entry covers the high-school category, grades 9–11. Selected students receive a $1,000 award invested until high-school graduation, a medal, certificate and invitation to a regional banquet. Later recognition renews scholar status without another monetary award.
