A paid, multi-year museum science pathway for San Francisco Unified School District students entering the program in grades 9–10. No previous experience is required. The next application update is due in February 2027.
Interns develop science-communication skills through museum interpretation, fieldwork and research or environmental-action projects. Training and leadership responsibility increase over time. This is a two-to-three-year commitment through high-school graduation, with after-school, Saturday and summer weekday work. Exact next-cohort dates are not yet published; a typical June start is not a confirmed date.
