Bright Matter 2027 (Oxford colleges STEM programme for women, trans and non-binary students, Years 11-12)

A joint programme from nine Oxford colleges: a launch session on applying to Oxford and fourteen online STEM subject sessions from January to February 2027 for women, trans and non-binary students in Years 11 and 12. The sign-up form opens from the end of October 2026.

Each session is led by a college tutor or faculty member and covers subject insights, an introduction to the subject at undergraduate level, a short academic taster and Q and A with current students. Subjects include Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Medicine, Physics, Psychology and Materials Science.
