Run by the Akita High School Study Abroad Promotion Committee (based at Akita International University) with EIL Japan, and supported by the Akita Prefectural Board of Education, the program aims to develop future global leaders who understand their home prefecture. Students spend about 10 months at a host-country high school (course A: the Philippines, Estonia, Germany, Belgium, Taiwan, Thailand, France; courses B/C: any EIL summer-departure country).
