Access to Creative Education in Scotland (ACES) Edinburgh 2026-27
A free national widening participation programme, hosted by the University of Edinburgh, for eligible S4 to S6 pupils in south-east Scotland who want to study art, design or architecture, with portfolio support and creative workshops.

ACES is funded by the Scottish Funding Council as part of the National Schools Programme. It gives advice on school subject choices, portfolio preparation and UCAS applications for art, design and architecture, with hands-on workshops and chances to meet current students. All activities are free for registered pupils and travel costs are covered if required.
