Choices Is Now Available in Vietnam

Choices is now available for students in Vietnam: 89 new opportunities, every one of them with Vietnamese language support, free to browse at mychoices.app.
Choices is a free directory of opportunities for high school students. Competitions, olympiads, research programs, internships, scholarships and summer schools are gathered in one place, so students spend less time searching and more time applying. Starting today, students in Vietnam can explore all of it in their own language.
What's new
We added 89 opportunities for Vietnam, and each one comes with Vietnamese language support. A student can read what a program is, who it is for and how to apply without translating anything on the side.
This matters because the hardest part of applying is often not the application itself. It is understanding the details: the eligibility rules, the deadlines, the format of the selection. When those details are in your own language, you can decide faster and apply with more confidence.
As everywhere on Choices, browsing is free. There are no paywalls and no account is needed to look around.
Why Vietnam
Great opportunities exist all over the world, but most of them are described in English and scattered across hundreds of separate websites. A motivated student in Vietnam can be fully qualified for a program and still never find it, or give up halfway through an application because the details were hard to follow.
We believe access should not depend on which language you read best. Vietnam is a country with a large and ambitious student community, and it is one of the places where a clear, free, well-organized directory in the local language can make the biggest difference. Choices is expanding country by country, and each release is built around that local language from the start, not added as an afterthought.
What you can find on Choices
The Vietnam release covers the same kinds of opportunities that Choices lists everywhere:
- Competitions and olympiads: a way to test your skills against other students and build a track record.
- Research programs: a chance to work on real questions with mentors, often years before university.
- Internships: early experience in a real workplace or lab.
- Scholarships: funding that can open doors that would otherwise stay closed.
- Summer schools: intensive programs where you learn something new and meet people who share your interests.
Every listing is written to answer the questions a student actually asks: what is it, who can apply, when is the deadline and how do I apply. You can filter by what you are looking for and go straight to the official application page when you find the right fit.
Why we built Choices
Choices began with a high school student's own search for opportunities. Looking for programs, competitions and scholarships took far more time and effort than it should have, and it was easy to miss the ones that would have been a perfect fit.
That experience led to a simple idea: build the directory we wished we had, make it free, and keep it clear. We started with the United States and Kazakhstan, and we have been growing the catalog and the number of countries ever since.
Vietnam is part of that story, and it is a release where language is the main point. Students everywhere deserve to find opportunities in the language they think and read in.
What is next
The Vietnam release is one step in a larger plan. We are working on:
- More countries. Choices is growing beyond its first markets, with each new country released in its own language.
- More opportunities. The catalog keeps growing, and we are adding listings for Vietnam on an ongoing basis, not only on launch day.
- New categories. Conferences are coming as a category, so students can find events as well as programs.
- Filters that fit each country. Education systems differ from place to place, so we are building Choices to speak to high school students everywhere, not only one grade system.
