2204-D encourages lise students to carry out original research and requires completed projects (idea-stage or ongoing projects are not accepted). Projects must fit one of the sub-fields in the specification under the main areas: Environment, Economic Sectors, Air and Climate, Water Research, Sustainability and Welfare, and Social Awareness. Finalists present online to the jury via Zoom (10-minute presentation plus 5-minute Q&A).
