An essay prize from Trinity College Cambridge for students in Year 12 or the Lower Sixth. Essays are on a general question from a list released each March and submitted in the summer. Trinity says information for 2027 will be posted on its essay prizes page in February 2027.
Jointly organised by Trinity College and the Cambridge Department of Politics and International Studies, the prize encourages students interested in modern politics and world affairs to consider university study in Politics, International Studies or a related discipline. Candidates choose a question from a list announced each March.
