Teams build a fully autonomous drone system that neutralises an aerial target in an electronic-warfare simulation with jammed GNSS signals.
The drone must filter corrupted GNSS data, head to the fixed-wing target area, detect and lock on to the target via image processing at the ground station, and complete a physical hit. All detection, tracking and guidance decisions run centrally at the ground control station. Stages are a Technical Qualification Form, an Algorithm Design Report, a simulation flight proof video and the final.
