The POSCO TJ Park Foundation's Lighthouse Scholarship gives exemplary first-year high school students in Pohang and Gwangyang 1 million won a year for up to three years, on their principal's recommendation.
The POSCO Lighthouse Scholarship (포스코등대장학) supports model students who set an example to others, to help them grow into outstanding talent. Besides the scholarship, scholars receive career and university-admissions programmes. There are two tracks: the Future Talent track (미래인재전형) and the Future Growth track (미래성장전형).
