A free, three-year college-access program at Pomona College for Southern California students: a four-week residential summer program each year plus academic-year support, for first-generation and low-income students in particular.

PAYS scholars take college-level courses and join cultural events, workshops, projects and field trips during the residential program and continue for three consecutive years, preparing for admission to selective colleges. About 30 new participants are admitted each year.
