NEXON's free national programming contest for middle and high school students, relaunched in 2026 as an AI-era strategy programming competition with an online qualifier and a final in Seoul.
NYPC has run since 2016 and was renamed NEXON Young Programmers Cup in 2026. Problems are open-ended, heuristic-style challenges that participants solve with code and permitted AI tools. The Rookie Track is the individual track for teenagers; a separate team Master Track is for university students and adults. Allowed languages include C, C++, Python, Java, Rust, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Go, Lua, Kotlin and Scala.
